LÊ THANH HẢO was born on April 6, 1976, and is originally from Liêm Thuận Hamlet, Tuy Phước Commune, Gia Lai Province, Vietnam. Lê Thanh Hảo is the Author and Founder of the UPT Knowledge System — a system of knowledge constructed from UPT’s own Foundational Body of Knowledge (FBK) and developed through three pillars: PFM — UPT Post-Formal Mathematics; PMP — UPT Postmodern Physics; and PAL — UPT Philosophy and Life.
The period from January 25, 2014 to February 21, 2014 marked the starting point of the work, when Lê Thanh Hảo had an understanding of reality. From that foundation of understanding, Lê Thanh Hảo gradually formed the foundational content of UPT. From May 8, 2016 to June 5, 2016, Lê Thanh Hảo published the 60 TOU — the Sixty Truths of the Universe — forming the first core foundational layer of the system. In late 2018, Lê Thanh Hảo began writing FOC — First-Order Consequence — to develop the consequences derived from the TOU foundation. In August 2025, Lê Thanh Hảo began building PFM, PMP, and PAL, expanding UPT from the Foundational Body of Knowledge into a structured system of research in mathematics, physics, philosophy, and life.
A distinctive feature of Lê Thanh Hảo’s approach to constructing UPT is that UPT does not take physical theories, past or present, as the foundation for building UPT Postmodern Physics. PMP is developed directly from FBK. Current mathematics is used solely as a tool to realize FBK, formalize UPT structures, carry out inference and proof, and audit those structures; at the same time, PFM develops its own mathematical structures necessary for the system as a whole. Accordingly, UPT is developed from its own knowledge foundation, rather than beginning by synthesizing, modifying, or extending a pre-existing system of physics.
The architecture of UPT directly reflects this path of development. FBK serves as the foundation; PFM builds and develops the mathematical structures of UPT; PMP develops the field of physics directly from FBK; and PAL investigates philosophy and life. The three pillars have their own functions and scopes, while developing in relation to a common foundation, forming the unified structure of the system as a whole.
The scope of Lê Thanh Hảo’s research within UPT ranges from fundamental questions about the Universe and reality to matter, vacuum, space, time, life, heredity, sentient beings, Primordial Knowing, human beings, and the meaning of life. UPT also aims to investigate major open problems in mathematics and physics using the very knowledge system developed from FBK.
Beginning with an understanding of reality in early 2014, and continuing through the publication of the 60 TOU, the development of FOC, and the building of the three pillars PFM, PMP, and PAL, Lê Thanh Hảo’s work developed through a consistent progression: establishing its own knowledge foundation, then developing from that foundation the fields of mathematics, physics, philosophy, and life. The central focus throughout the work is to investigate the Universe, reality, life, and human beings through the very knowledge system constructed within UPT.
